can you get brannigans from any supermarket, or is it just mail order? i haven't seen them in sainsbury's, tesco's, , waitrose, morrisons, asda, aldi, lidl, m&s...
They can be found in some smaller shops, I've seen them in small mini-mart type places occasionally. But pretty rare. I get mine from Amazon, 18 packs are £12.24, which is 68p a bag. Perhaps a little expensive compared to normal crisps... but they are worth every penny.DanDC5 said:
Always a pleasure.
Just to give you a little insight into my experience with Mexican Chilli Mcoys:I've eaten a bag a day (monday - friday) since I was at high school 14 years ago, it was love at first-bite!
Throughout this period I've probably spoke / emailed the customer service department around 12-15 times about various matters such as bad batches which have contained little to no seasoning on them, rumors of them being discontinued and more importantly change of recipe:
At around 4 points in time I've noticed a distinct change in taste and an accompanying bag re-design, unfortunately the original taste was undoubtedly the best (spicier and absolutely rife with flavor) and the taste has got progressively worse (though it did get slightly better a year or so ago)despite this they are still the king of crisps IMO.
I've got several photos of freakishly large MCC crisps that I've taken over the last year, need to get them off my phone sometime

That's an impressive Chilli McCoy obsession going on. I've found the main problem with them is sheer availability, it's sketchy at best and often impossible to find in single bags round here. I did notice in Asda yesterday when I went at lunchtime they had multipacks on offer with Chilli flavour in at £1.50 or something. May have to stock up.I've eaten a bag a day (monday - friday) since I was at high school 14 years ago, it was love at first-bite!

I've found that service stations tend to have them fairly often, if not:http://www.shortersclub.co.uk/products/30686-mccoy...

The final bag of Brannigans Beef & Mustard was consumed today. I'm not placing a new order for now, as they are just too addictive - these are the potato equivalent of crack! Need to go cold turkey for a while but I'll probably have a relapse and get some more in a few weeks
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmFinally, after about 15 years of looking, I found a post office near where I work, selling Brannigans for 70p. I only bought 1 pack today, but I'll be going back soon to stock up. They haven't changed at all and I think they are still my fav crisps ever...
