Simon (Type R) - that's bloody delicious !! yum

Seriously.

I've paid £6.50-7 a pint in a craft ale bar for stuff worse than that !!

I know Rebellion are a more traditional brewery and as you said they sell to the pub trade who still want the real ales etc, but they could sell this in the pubs I'm sure ?

Slightly hazy, tropical, light, lemony scratchchin , easy to drink, doesn't taste 5.4% .
Anyone could be forgiven for thinking you just sit by a river drinking beer, Simon.

Anyway, following in your footsteps I am on the Chouffe currently.

Then you have confirmation, if you needed it, that you are a peasant. Chouffe blonde is the king of beers.biglaugh

A good few more, will go in the coming months. Far too many places started up in a short space of time for the amount of people drinking them.
It should help the ones that remain increase their sales and allow them to stay profitable.

It’s not just the little ones, Black Sheep have called in the administrators too.

My token Coronation celebration. Basically their Barn Ale in a different bottle, but given old Phil's love of the stuff, seems fairly fitting.

Parents bought this from Waitrose. 5.6%. Brewed in Bristol. Thumbs up from me.

I have never bought anything alcoholic with an M&S logo on it that wasn't bland.

But you don't like Chouffe Blonde, so you'll probably think it's great.biglaugh

M&S have got some new collaboration beers with good breweries like Vocation, Polly's, and Northern Monk. I've not tried then yet, but a couple of them sound good. Their previous craft beer range was poor.

I've not had a nice beer with cucumber in it.

To be fair, I have never had a nice salad with beer in it. Some F&Bs items should not be mixed.

Well it's an interesting combination - and you can taste the cucumber in it - but I don't think it'll catch on winkhehe

It's not unpleasant but didn't taste of 'quality' then read the ingredients 'strawberry puree and concentrated cucumber juice'.

If there's one thing I've learnt from today - I didn't realise 'concentrated cucumber juice' was a thing.......
