I guess you are in Germans, don't say those are boiled German sausages?

Back home now to do outside stuff with some Thatchers gold
Is it bad that I knew without even looking at the username who this post would be by? hehe

Thatchers Gold is definitely a good accompaniment to outdoor weekend handiwork though! (Apologies, unpretentious drink only, no food...)

Not heard of Füssen (is it the place, or the food name) ?

They look like Weißwurst - especially if that's the sweet mustard they are served with ?

Either way - enjoy !!

A couple of breakfasts already this week:

The Full Monty Breakfast @ Beanzz in Eastbourne with thick cut baconium, herby local farm sourced sausages and probably hand grown mushrooms and tomato by a local virgin; £14.20 & coffee extra:

Set 3 in Chefs Delight in Gillingham, Kent - a proper greasy spoon - 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs and a mound of fries £8.50 inc coffee:

This one does me for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

That’s correct, I’m a sucker for these boiled sausages ever since I tried them for breakfast at the BMW museum. Slice the casing and eat the inside with that sweet mustard.

Füssen is home to the Neuschwanstwein, which is the fairy tale castle that inspired Disney’s Fantasia. The guy who built it was a fantasist who went bankrupt trying to finish it and was bumped off by some p1ssed off townfolk, allegedly.

For extra PH points it’s also the castle in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang movie.

I was just being a fancy arse in calling bacon, baconium, biggrin This place is so hipster that I may be excluded if my beard and manbun doesn't grow long enough for next time.

Chips are frozen and the sausages are chuck in the fryer types.

You can park in Aldi for 90mins free and walk over. Good fast friendly service.

I don't go out for breakfast very often anymore (less travelling for work thankfully), but isn't £14.50 in Eastbourne of all places expensive?

It's nice, but expensive. By the time you add a coffee, you're kicking on the doors of £18-19. But Mrs V. likes it. The other greasy spoon is half the price and just as good.

Great that they agree that chips have no place on a breakfast plate.
