The Great Breakfast photo thread (Vol. 2)
Discussion
Four solid offering and one needs must, not a bean in sight, bliss.
CdG; another very appetizing Sunday breakfast, nice start to the day.
tobinen; ingredients nice and simple, looks well made, egg on point, well done mother.
Bolid; shame about the yolk, but the rest looks good, onion chutney looks like an excellent accompaniment.
RP; some hang over there if your chopping through whole packets of ham, need must, so a win.
Craigjm; Turkish Menemen looks lush, bacon done a treat, portion just right, tip top!
Certainly topped my effort, this morning.

Sweet and spicy Rabokki (noodles with rice cakes) with added Kimchi....
Do you make your own Kimchi? I had a hankering for it but could only find the tiny jars in Sainsburys and nothing at all in Waitrose. Might have to find an Asian supermarket next week when I'm in Woolwich. Not sure if it was "great", but it was certainly a breakfast.....
Knowing I was going to need to be up early for a roadtrip and really not fancying cooking anything that would be substantial enough, my eye was drawn to this "protein breakfast" from a well known purveyor of frozen goods.
It tasted surprisingly ok, with the spinach and tomato mingling with the occasional tangy bit of halloumi. Came in a handy reusable tupperware too (though personally I'd go for a lower price and disposable container).
Unfortunately, due to being designed to be microwaved, it had a texture all too reminiscent of airline food for my liking - finishing it off in a oven to make it crispy rather than soggy would be much better, but also defeat the object of expediency.....
