That's like saying Jaguar 2.0 litre Estate Cars are good?
?? It answers the question and gives a good recommendation based on experience of decent cookware.

I've owned a 2.2d Jaguar estate, so I can say that yes they are a good car for many people, but I wouldn't recommend the 2.0 litre models, if you are looking. The 2.2d is much better.

Yes they are good. But they are no Jaguar is what I'm saying.
Your buying a Mondeo with some plastic wood.
Do you really believe Le Creuset have tooled up to knock out Stainless Pans?
Contracted out, probably to China.

Le Creuset? Can't really go wrong with them...
Unless you find them too heavy to comfortably use.

Buy a complete set of Le Creuset
Hang them up for all to see.
Buy a set of Stainless pans from Ikea/Wilkinsons which will last 15 - 20 years. Keep them in a cupboard when not in use. Use Steel Wool to clean any burns.
Sorted
This.

Le Creuset is over priced low tech tat for the same folk who like an AGA and Elizabeth David cook books.

All ours are either cracked, lost their enamel (acid fruits do it) or are quietly rusting in the cupboard.

Hateful things.
Le Creuset don't just make tradional cast iron stuff, they also make some nice stainless steel pans too. They're exensive but well made. However I have some John Lewis own brand stainless steel pans of about the same age and they're lasting well too despite being about 50% of the price. Only problem is JL seem to have dropped that range!
Yep, we have had a set of Le C Alli 3 ply pans for the last 10 years and they are as good as new.....

This is perhaps the most un-PH post I have ever made, but 20 years ago when I was, let's say, newly single, I bought a set of 4 stainless steel pans from Wilko. They have survived having both of my teenage/early 20s boys living with me (and cooking for themselves) for a while and are still going very strong today, in daily use. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them at all.

I think the set cost me £15.....
About 8 years ago I also bought 4 stainless saucepans from Wilko. 99.5% of all meals since then have been home cooked in these pans over the last 8 years, they are showing no wear, and have been by far the best pans we have ever owned.

Thats what I was going to recommend too. I dont have any of them yet but as soon as our current pans are shot (wont be long) they will be replaced by these.

So we have Pans for all people and all budgets.
Everybody's a winner.
Just thinking of Classic Slapstick for a moment , I'd much rather be hit over the head with a Wilco Pan, than a Le Creuset Pan!

I bought a set of Salter 'Marble range' pans about 5 years ago. They still look like new and the non-stick actually works.
They are mid-price range and I've always followed their advice about not using metal tools or scouring pads (which aren't needed) and avoiding thermal shock (Let them cool before putting in water!)

Le Creuset are st non-stick pans. We’ve worn through 3 of them that were wedding presents.

Got these now. Lifetime warranty (including the non stick coating) so job done:

Even cooked on scrambled egg comes off with ease, great pans.

I also have the le creuset tri ply and despite my best efforts they are as good as new, I've even been known to go out and forget I've left the ring on incinerating whatever is inside them and a quick wipe they are like new, my dad actually asked me if I was sure they aren't non stick.

Can't find them online, but I think I've got Tesco "Professional" pans many years old, have burnt pasta in them scrubbed them, put them on hob, oven & dishwasher still all good.
