Might have to try that. I like lime, rub it around the rim of the glass first ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
It's the way to serve Hendricks, although the first time I had Hendricks and it had the cucumber I couldn't work out why it tasted of cucumber (I hadn't noticed the cucumber actually was cucumber and had assumed it was lime).![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
It wasn't until somone pointed out the cucumber that it all clicked....
...Then it further clicked when I found out Hendricks is actually made with cucumber anyway...
Double D'oh!
ETA: mattley, Pimms maybe you're right, but Hendricks definitely is.

You cant beat Hendrick's mixed with tonic, ice and a slice of lime, especially in the summer.

Gin and Tonic.
Desperately civilised. But one does need to make it a "manly" one (as a good friend says...). This is achieved by no less than a fifty/fifty mix of gin to tonic. Then add the ice and a slice.
I can attest that too many of those whilst cooking are not a good idea.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
agreed there Don, they can slip down a little too easily while working over a hot stove.Desperately civilised. But one does need to make it a "manly" one (as a good friend says...). This is achieved by no less than a fifty/fifty mix of gin to tonic. Then add the ice and a slice.

I do like a Gin, Lemonade and Lime on occasion, I sometimes find Tonic a little too bitter, again with the 60/40 gin bias.

sorry, I meant 70/30.
