A 4 nugget happy meal is now priced £3.99 locally.
That's just insane if you're having to feed a family of 4 now for what you're getting (and it's pot luck whether you'll even get the toy or a desired milkshake flavour at the moment!).
Better of getting a box of 20 and some fries, no?
or tesco 72 nuggets £4.30
tesco 1.5kg french fries £2.50
2 litre of proper coke £1.99
or
8 fruit shoots 3.50

+ electricity max 60p

£9.39 or 10.90

granted it wont make kids happy that want a plastic piece of crap but still

that would give 8 kids a 9 piece meal thats more than they should be eating anyway

Oh don't worry, they get properly cooked meals at home with veg and water to drink (not allowed fizzy drinks).

They just get the occasional trip to the arches if we're out shopping or generally on a long trip somewhere when it's convenient. It's just that now convenient is very quickly becoming extremely poor value for money.

Christmas menu is a p take, chicken big mac, crappy cheese dippers, and wait for it...the big cheesy...so just the philly cheese again with some jalapenos instead of onions....and one big patty instead of 2 smaller stacked, who comes up with such inventive burgers!!...galaxy caramel pie sounds ok.

kfc stuffing tower sounds interesting
I’m not that fussed about McDonald’s Christmas, but as someone who worked for a Japanese company for 15 years, and now works with Japanese clients, the team “traditional Japanese Christmas dinner” visit to KFC is a tradition I brought to my new company, so I’m glad that KFC in the UK are leaning in to it.

Just checked on the app - 20 nuggets is now £5.99! It was £3.99 the last time I ordered some. That's some increase, even if they were always very cheap for 20.

Prices will vary on which franchise owns the restaurant you're ordering through. We have 5 restaurants in our local area and there can be a price difference of 30p-80p between stores near to each other.

That's a new one on me, I thought it was BK and KFC that had varying prices but all McDonald's were the same. That 9 nugget meal is extortionate lol.

There is me thinking this was the other way round, all KFCs and BKs I've been in have been the same or at least VERY similar (10p max change).

Aside from the "saver menu" Maccies in different places have always varied wildly.

Is it at least Xmas themed KFC, like with gravy and roast sprout sides, cranberry sauce in the burgers, or is it straight KFC?

I think they've gone down the book/cuddly toy route now.

McDs prices can be 40-50p different just a mile between. Its like that near me, the "big" mcds is a good 10% more than the other one.
I assume its running costs?

As for prices going up at one point at the start of this year the breakfast meals were going up about 10p every other week near me. They seem to have levelled out now but still 6 quid for what was 3.49 not that long ago isnt exactly great.

A couple of weeks ago I got a big mac, 2 doubles, 2 large fries and an apple pie and it was a few pence under £20. And when I got home they large fries were actually mediums. FFS.

That was £12-£13 order not that long ago. Fact of the current market I guess. It boggles my mind that people then pay 4 or 5 quid to have it delivered.

Cardboard fold out toys mostly.
Sometimes you get a cuddly soft toy like the recent squishmallow craze.
And if they run out of those, there appears to be a stash of small books to fall back on (followed by scowling children).
