I looked earlier on the app and could only add 1 extra sausage to a double.

I tried Tim hortons at the weekend.

Wont bother agan!
what did you have?
Only a strawberry milkshake and some timbits.

Shake had an odd taste to it and the timbits were just dry and chewy like they were three days old

I didn't know you could triple it?!
The app allows you to add one patty, and/or egg, & cheese. I don't think the muffins are big enough to go any taller by adding another egg as well, it would probably collapse and topple over quicker than Capt Toms daughters illegal spa.

Lithunaia mcds, quite a boring menu, some cheese patty burger was of interest but let down upon trying...cheap though.

The lazy festive uk menu kicks I next week.

The Big & Cheesy £5.49 - (single) / £7.29 (meal)
The Big & Cheesy with Bacon £6.29 - (single) / £8.09 (meal)
Chicken Big Mac £4.79 - (single) / £6.59 (meal)
Cheese Melt Dippers with Rich Tomato Dip - £2.59 (single) / £6.89 (sharebox)
McDonald's Chicken Combo £14.99
Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry - £1.49 (mini) / £1.99 (regular)
Galaxy Caramel McFlurry - £1.49 (mini) / £1.99 (regular)
Galaxy Caramel Pie £1.99

the big and cheesy is a normal burger with 2 slices of cheese, 'cheese sauce', red onions, 'crispy onions'

the philly cheesestack was pathetic in itself but to do it as a special twice in a row with a different name is a little sad!

disappointing to hear when you think about the type of festive burgers McDs used to have in the past.

Is the Galaxy Caramel Pie the same as the chocolate one they did recently?

They were like crack to me, absolutely gorgeous! I was once told on ordering at the drive through that there were none left, collected my drink and saw there were 4 left so drove round again to get all of them biggrin

Ordered to pickup on the app, probably 5 mins from ordering and picking up. Pretty efficient. Still needed a whack in the oven when I got home though.

I went to Tim Hortons.

The lattice chips were just like the oven ones you can get from the supermarket. The burgers had that cheap burger taste that comes from mechanically recovered meat, binders and fillers which I actually enjoy. The coffee was the best out of any fast food chain I tried.

It's like someone said, what if we crossed a Starbucks and a McDonald's? Given how much emphasis there is on the coffee drinks, donuts etc, it seems to be a coffee shop that happens to sell burgers.

Also went to a Popeye's Louisiana Chicken place, which I hear is big in the States.

The chicken had that fake juiciness from brining. Overall similar quality to one of McD's special real meat chicken burgers. Also had the strawberry milkshake which I felt was a step down from McD's, has a chemically artificial flavour undertaste which wasn't good. Chips, very average. Overall I prefer KFC's chicken burgers out of all three places mentioned.

They are seen as a “cheap” alternative to KFC in the states. Generally pretty crap and the ones over here are worse. I don’t see it lasting

Just had one of those latest big and cheesy things at McDonald’s. They are far too similar to the Philly stack to follow on immediately and the bun being a floured bun makes it taste more like a sandwich than a burger in my view. Not impressed with that other than its physical size.

As an aside I sat in at a city centre place and the behaviour of the under 20s generation is just appalling. Loads of feet on seats, leaving their trays and rubbish for others to clear up and two guys were throwing fries and sauce at each other making a right mess. When the poor cleaner asked them to clean it up she got a mouthful of verbal.

I'm surprised with the Popeyes review. I've been to the Ealing branch a bunch of times and the food has been amazing. By far the best fried chicken from all the chains IMO. Even my anti-fast food, middle-class gf loves it!
