Other than those mentioned so far, it seems disappointing. I was really hoping the KA III would be in it, but sadly not.
I tried the Glenfarclas 25 last night - only a small glass, but wasn't overly impressed. At the moment, I wish I'd spent my £95 elsewhere. Still - mate is coming round tonight for a "whisky night" so I'll see how I get on with it this evening.
KA III was on a flash sale at MoM last night a little after midnight, but it wasn't a large discount if I remember correctly - maybe £20 off?I tried the Glenfarclas 25 last night - only a small glass, but wasn't overly impressed. Had a pretty reasonable blind tasting last night.... These 3 and a 21yo Glen Keith from Cadenheads. We only knew it was 3 closed distilleries and 1 that was relatively recently re-opened. Port Ellen was the only one I got! Rosebank we discussed, but had a few other options we thought it might be. Then finished off with a Deanston 20yo Portwood to end the night.

Anyone spotted any really good black Friday deals? Looking for something interesting for my dad for ~£100

If I see KA III I will post here - after I've bought mine of course :-)
The Glenfarclas 25 needs at least 30 mins after pouring before it starts to shine.
Give it a bit of time and try it again.
Unless of course you have a bad batch.
All that I can see on Amazon at the moment:

Opened up a bottle of A'Bunadh last week which I've had in the cabinet for about three and a half years, and absolutely hated the first glass. It's a very firey 59.6%. A'bunadh £59.90 - still too expensive to me!

Although I've warmed to it a bit since with a splash of water.
Found an extra Amazon voucher I had, so have an Arbelour 12 coming today together with the Bowmore and Edradour.

What batch number is that? I have a 59 at home unopened, the last one I drank was 56. I have the first sip neat and enjoy that cask strength smack in the chops , then add some water - I do like a sherry bomb though. Some of the earlier batches are fetching decent money at auction now.davek_964 said:

I tried it at the Whisky show last year and felt exactly the same, at the time i didn't think it was worth £120 it normally goes for and even reduced to £95 I wasn't sure. Based on sheepslitters comments maybe I need to give it another chance.

well you can't be an alcoholic if you need an extra cabinet!! Not drinking fast enough!!
I'm not a big drinker, I just keep spotting bargains*.* My idea of a bargain may differ to the wife's...
I decided to stop buying and try and reduce some of the unopened bottles I have. Possibly managed to find people interested in 2 bottles yesterday. Today I just tried to phone my brother as saw 2 bottles I really want that are UK only, so need to check if he has space at his place until I visit next time, :'(
