I would suggest no long walks away from respectable facilities today.

Deep fried artery clogging goodness. The chilli sauce is always decent too.
Where's that from?

Thanks for the input, although my two large healthy mastiffs do enjoy a varied diet, and wouldn't agree with that, it's a treat, not all the time!

I can honestly say I've never seen a parmo cut up so beautifully. Was this your own work or did it come like that?

It came like that. Sadly they misread my instructions and omitted some of the toppings but it still hit the spot.

Chinese that isn’t noodles, rice and chips? That must be a first for these pages

A solid rectangular block is a nice change of pace, though.

A visit to Cambridge yielded this: The Tommy Tucker special + chips: around £14. Had to finish it off for tea the next day

I lean towards the lift and swivel technique.
Place the pot upside down in the centre of the plate and lift the container slowly whilst rotating about its centre. This will sweep and deposit the noodles/rice in a satisfying shallow cone.

Very strange considering it's the most popular night of The year where no one can be arsed to cook

Most takeaways will be heaving tonight. Just dropped into a chippy and waited 30 mins for my food. Some places close since it’s a pain to get the staff to work.
