You need to think on that...
Don't worry. I'll be back soon with a vengeance and will blow your fruit bowl in to next week.

I can't bloody wait!

Just a little personal goal I want to achieve. Not that I'm a bloater or anything but sometimes a better balance is good.

Found this on my camera from a couple of weeks back. Couldn't be bothered to walk the extra 200m to the bab shop to decided to get a chinky.

It was a big disappointment. Just a big pile of stodge with that generic chinese taste to it.

Breast of chicken fried rice + a portion of chips. Even the chips were crap.

What did you expect with what you ordered?

Breast of chicken fried rice? And chips? A bit bland and dry don't you think?

Those were the days!

May have to order something soon. Only had soup for lunch and I can't be bothered to cook.

Maybe a 'bab as that seems to be the trend at the moment.
Fish and chips? They do deliver around here.

You should see my vessel for the big blow out.

The things I do for this thread.

I don't think these do it justice. It's fking huge. Deep too.

That's a 90cm hob so I guess the platter is 65cm x 35 x 8cm deep.

Why, are you thinking of upgrading the fruit bowl?

Russ, get off my back.

I don't actually eat butter at the minute. There's 3 of those unopened in the fridge nearing use by date.

Point taken about round bowls and microwaves but for presentation purposes it should work a treat.

What did you order tonight GG?

For a DTA that looks very fresh. Nothing wrong with ladies' fingers on your plate either.

I've been in London for the weekend. We went to Bill Wyman's restaurant 'Sticky Fingers' - what a load of rubbish! Service was bad and the food basic and average.

Not long now 'til my DTA return!

Great success then? Only £15.90 down and maybe a day or two to recover needed.
Welcome. Out of interest were you on Pistonheads or was it some sort of google search that brought you to us?

Shot at redemption one from in the week,i did scoop most of it with the popadums but had to resort to knife and fork as handfulls of rice, curry and what ever else is in a mings wok special was starting to get messy.

the boy had this

he left this so i ate this aswell

also had a portion of salt and pepper chips never had these lovley they were

Please forgive oh great one for the previous post bow i let the side down
Good effort from you and the boy.

One thing. It looks like a Chinese curry. Therefore prawn crackers are the only edible scoop compatible, rendering popadoms a distinct fail.

Sorry.

Chips in the brown greasy bag?

I do like a good fried frozen chip with a dirty curry.

It's been a while!

How much of that did you eat in one sitting?

Looking back over this thread is unbelievable. It has helped me to stay on my healthy regime for a month now - almost giving me a hit of filth visually without having to imbibe.

Not long now until the big order goes in. (2 weeks)

I'm going for a chinese tonight but I'd like to try something different...normally go for the chow main/crispy chilli beef/special fried rice/S&S chicken balls.

Any suggestions? I'm not into bland so a spicy kick is welcome.

or

Do a GG and order everything.

mmmm....nah, I'm fat enough.
The thing with what you usually order is that it's really hard to beat. Sometimes you need to go custom and get them to add different sauces to the fried battered meats.

E.g. - sweet and sour Cantonese style upgraded to Kung po or hot chilli and garlic.

Some salt and pepper chicken wings would help you out with your conundrum too!

A sad indication of the filth we accept in place of the authentic dishes.

I'd love a traditional Chinese takeaway near us.
