Middle looks good, but I think you could have gotten a bit of a charr on the outside with more heat in the pan. Heat = flavour when it comes to steak.
Bearing in mind that's a mini part baked on a side plate, a thicker char would have over cooked the steak. Pan was hotter than most; filled the galley with smoke! Steak was just a cheapo supermarket offering, I'd buy much thicker from the butcher. smile

Basically this https://pinchofnom.com/recipes/salt-and-pepper-chi...

I added sweet and sour to the veg in the pan to get a coating for the chicken. Not the best, but couldn't think what else to use. Maybe some soy and honey reduced

Local sandwich shop does crispy chilli beef, which is amazing, they said onion and lettuce to go with it, but I’m not sold. Can’t think of anything else to go with it though...

One thing I do miss about office work life is going down Leather lane and getting Thai at lunch. This looks good.

Fridays are pretty depressing. In normal life I'd be taking clients out to a nice restaurant and making merry for the rest of the afternoon.
Instead I make this. And it's not red wine in the mug frown

Day 4 so third reheat. Flavours now very intense. Also don't own a fridge so there is added risk to the culinary excitement!

Actually own several but live on a boat so no mains 'leccy, water or gas. Neither of us drink milk so with the exception of leftovers it just means we eat fresh every day.
Can't complain.
