Agree with that, perfectly OK but nothing remarkable - couldn't resist when I saw it in Tesco.
My usual choice for stocking the fridge at home would be Keo (Tescos), or Kona Big Wave/Longboard (lucky enough to have a very good wine/beer specialist nearby).
If I'm ever in the pub, it would have to be Kirin or Staropramen, although ended up drinking Zywiec for the first time in a few years on Friday after a few pints of Staropramen, all went down pretty well..
I discovered Big Wave on honeymoon in Maui last year, by far my favourite beer. Can i ask the name of the wine/beer specialist near you? I have manged to buy some in the past from beermerchants.com My usual choice for stocking the fridge at home would be Keo (Tescos), or Kona Big Wave/Longboard (lucky enough to have a very good wine/beer specialist nearby).

Rich85uk - not tried Lech, but so far have found Polish beers to be a lot like Czech in terms of quality. I think Zywiec was the first I tried, and liked, when the local shops I stayed at the time started stocking it for obvious reasons..

Mate Desperado's is the best beer going thats FACT!!!
The wrongness is strong with this one If we're talking lagers then there are plenty of good ones to choose from but this is the best beer in the world... (well OK a stout then)
over 14% and aged in bourbon barrels.

Waitrose have recently started selling Mahou which is my favourite of the Spanish lagers.
I once went to Ibiza and paid an extra £75 to go all inclusive and this was the beer the hotel was giving out. Not sure I could stomach another one after the amount I ended up drinking!Bluequay said:

Another one that they wouldn't clean their feet with in Spain lol. I can confirm Taste The Difference American Pale Ale is a tasty drop, not quite up there with Meantime for me, but its not bad. Also Sains have Blue Moon on offer a around £1.20 for a 355ml bottle. Given its nearly £6 a pint in my local, I reckon that is a decent deal.
