My local Aldi accepts cards , they have just installed a free to use cash machine inside too. the buffalo mozeralli di campagna is a treat too, very good quality , comes in a ball type or the pearls 99p a tub , my cats are partial to the meaty chew sticks and the vitacat pouches now and again too. had an Aldi rib eye steak with some asparagus and new potato tonight , was very nice. fancied a steak but couldnt be arsed to drive in rush hour to my mates butchers. would have been closed by the time i got there anyway but for supermarket meat. was cracking.

Gave Ax their card back over twenty years ago.It really was the worst and most arrogant CS I have ever experienced.
Think many times worse than Crapita, appalling.
How a charge card could fk up so consistantly and comprehensively was astonishing.
I still remember several conversations vividly.
A sort of PTAxD, grrrr.
Mind you, I did get several bottles of compensatory pop...

Going to head to Aldi off to work. Mrs wants some wine and me some Gin,
Can anyone recommend some ? As i have only ever purchased the Taurus cider there before.
read reviews on this - https://www.aldi.co.uk/oliver-cromwell-london-dry-...
White wine for her, preferably Pinot.
Cheers

Amusing, one of the reasons I started shopping at Aldi was that Waitrose dropped their instore offers for members, instead coming up with some hairbrained money saving scheme where you go online and choose x amount of offers.
Now finally they have 'understood from customers' that it sucked and will be doing vouchers instead. I go0t a voucher for £3 off their premium pizza and £1.50 off any chocolate! So that was me sorted for today

I preferred the old Aldi/lidl it is getting way too middle class, they had a niche it worked well.
Had the full Canada Goose on, looking very smug with his 26 quid trolley full.
The only problem with Aldi is you need a quid for the trolleys. I normally dump all my change in the pot so 9 times out of ten I end up with two baskets and arms like a gibbon.
