Blueberry Pancakes with Maple Cured Bacon. I was always an Eggs Benedict/Royale lover but I’m feeling torn. Not as pretty, but this just works.
That just looks wrong.Being hyper critical, pancakes a bit dark for my preference, see my pic a few pages back. Bacon looks fine. Plenty of maple syrup. I'll have to be more generous with the syrup in my plating up in future, splooshing it about like Gretchen has done means there is syrup sitting on the plate for dipping and not soaked into the pancakes like mine usually is. So that's good, just that genuine Grade A first tap light syrup is so flaming expensive so you don't fling it about willy nilly.
Only fair criticism I have, needs eggs, sunny side up.
Pancakes, bacon, eggs, coffee, multiple cups.

Beans really have no place in a cooked breakfast, but if they have to make an appearance, they should be in a separate bowl and not on the main plate.
You can't start a fight like that at this time of night. The debate around Beans and red or brown sauce is like Northern Ireland and Israel rolled into one.
But in short - separate bowl? FRO.

Is that how to start a fight?

Beans, depends on the sauce content, too much sauce does not have a place, but beans with limited sauce, carefully placed to allow moppage by fried bread, or at a complete stretch toast is Ok, runny beans slathering all over the place just no. And separate bowl, agreed, FRO. Plus don't even get me started on tinned sodding tomatoes! I'd rather have a breakfast garnished with those pink fecking wafer biscuits, topped with salad and cottage cheese.
Is that how to start a fight?
Well Twig started it, but you've just finished it with a haymaker. Is that how to start a fight?
I can't argue with anything you have said,
I'd add that they should get cooked last, in the pan used for the sausage/bacon etc.

Well those beans have far too much runny sauce for me to be included in a fried breakfast. Simple beans on toast though, more sauce the better. Just my opinion, others are available.
Oh right you're talking about Sleap Aerodrome chef. No, you're right. Barely heated. It's a shocker.Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
