I too would have thought that a 1st class stamp was fine for that. No problem anyway.

I think the envelope was too big for Pat to post? rolleyes
I was tempted to stick the stamps on & make the PO deliver the envelope ! ( surely this would have cost more than covering Lefty's slight miscalculation?)

Lets hope my wife has time to go and pick it up - I'm not home until the end of Jan. Do you think Postman Pat would do a return to sender ?

On balance, Lefty - you are well up. Organising the casks more than makes up for the Post Office having daft stamp rules.

The fault to be honest lies totally at the door of the Royal Mail.

Yes - they may need to modernise - but creating silly pricing structures which just trip up the average punter (sorry Lefty - we can't really consider you an 'average punter') was not one of their finest hours in my opinion.

Everyone's happy.woohoo

Port Octaves.

There will be a very limited run of these, they will be available in a few weeks time. Probably never to be repeated...

Anyone fancy it?

£700 for unpeated spirit, 10x slots at £70 each (or £75 via paypal).

I sent someone a dyno print out in an A4 business envelope the other day, and apparently 1 first class stamp isnt enough for a single piece of paper these days.

I'm there. With my other half if Pete wants in - or by myself otherwise.

In a few weeks - umm ? I'm getting near sorting that trip out - two weeks from 28 April. Might that tie in with filling ?
