Visited old friends last week up in my old hunting ground and came across this:

Nice and smooth (with Mediterranean tonic and lime).

Had a couple of bottles for my birthday....

First up was J.J Whitley Elderflower gin and it's bloody lovely. Sweet, but a great summer gin with Mediterranean tonic and a shed load of ice.

Second was the Whitley Neill rhubard and ginger. Nice with fever tree light tonic and a sprig of fresh rosemary but even better with ginger ale and rosemary.

Both have gone down very well at a big family BBQ this afternoon.

Hi to everyone! Found this thread a couple of months ago and been meaning to post my collection at first chance. This Sunday's boredom made me open the cabinet, take the bottles out and line em up for photos. So....

English

Scottish

Greek

South Africa - Germany - Ireland

Spain - Norway - Plus England

Various other countries

After taking last picture I realised Boe Gin is actually Scottish, my bad.

Not tried them...........cucumber certainly adds something but the taster had elderflower tonic and I liked it....so yet to try it with plain tonic or neat.......keeping for a special occasion (or perhaps not) wink

A friend bought me a bottle of Lone Wolf and I’ve polished it off, really nice stuff.

8.8% is weak for G&T, that’s about 1:4.

No ice though so probably about right.

I can't help reading this as "titted penguin"

Picked up a bottle of Edinburgh Gin "Seaside" yesterday and it's lovely if you like a peppery, savoury sort of gin (which we both do). Slight saltiness to the aftertaste too, although how much of that is NLP (cos seaside) I will never know. Recommended.

It’s possibly the slighter larger 500ml can that makes it seem stronger after a few wobble

Just got back from a Gin and Rum festival in Birmingham, sampled about 10 different Gins and found this to be my favourite, I’ll be ordering a bottle soon.

Aldi and Lidl have a great selection of Gins is for Christmas. My local Lidl know of my love so pointed them out and told me some were only a one box delivery. I ran a few through the Ginventory app and most were high 8.something stars.

I’ve made myself a Cocktail Lounge so picked up a bottle of this yesterday. It’s very very easy to drink.

Bit of cross threading here, I bought some Lamb & Watt 'premium' tonic from Lidl today - not tried it yet.

It's gin, Jim. But not as you know it.

Extremely nommable and very moreish, but it ain't really gin. More of a flavored vodka.

Christmas selection. Shame they’re all miniatures. Size matters.
