Been to Asda and Morrisons in Rotherham and cannot find any - I did find a 500g jar in Morrisons for £4 that I bought, but that's not the point smile

Marmite Gold now available in Sainsburys Salford (Regent Road)

The completist in me want to get hold of Guinness, the cricket & 'I Love You' Marmite editions. I'm guessing eBay is my best bet for these?
I'm afraid so....

What's the Gold stuff like? Any different in taste or just the flecks?
Tastes nice, but with a slight tang I'd say.

Original marmite is still the best though smile

I prefer vegemite myself. smile
More of a subtle almost nutty flavour, rather than overtly pungent & salty like standard marmite.
This stuff:

Horribly rank stuff - I don't even put it with my "emergency" Marmite set...

Is it available anywhere else?

Also, Sainsburys have a 70% off sale and the marmite egg cups and toast rack sets are under £3 each.

Thanks for this kind offer but I've decided to just order some - now if you happen to over buy, I'll have to relieve you of itsmile

Slightly OT, as its not a jar..... But I had marmite sausages for dinner tonight, from our local butcher. Was surprised to discover they were too marmitey! (I didn't think such a thing was possible either)

As a side note, my friends homemade marmite vodka is a thing of beauty.
As bad as marmite chocolate?
