Tip rePuzzas, buy plain Margarita and pile on your own toppings!
Tip, make your own pizza dough and the rest yourself... :-)
thumbup prompted me to order a Pizza Stone and paddle. Looking forward to being Pizza self sufficient but that’ll be for another thread.

Whilst it's pretty hard to buy a bad pizza in Aldi, these two new ones are a superb addition to their frozen range.

Lovely, crisp bread and really well loaded toppings. Also a third, veggie one in the range, for the social pariahs.

Had the chicken & mango pizza yesterday and it was very nice.
bought these

they are as good as people say, properly delicious

Tried the LIDL piri pri spatchcock chicken last night. it was ok but the chicken had a very strange citrus/lemony taste to it that just didn't feel right in my opinion.

I had the rocket one (not pictured) the other night and it was really good. An utter bargain in fact.

Can't get enthusiastic about the pizzas. In fairness I'm not a huge pizza fan anyway but I fancied one last night so bought the Spicy salsiccia and salami sourdough. Not terrible but seemed to have a big doughy base and a bit lacking cheese. And it costs the same as their mid range steak!

Had to remind myself if these were any good or not before I buy some for Christmas.

They are. Especially at £1.29 (box of ten) in Aldi.

I picked up one of these earlier this week, surprisingly good!

I'm not fond of anything violet, MrsIanA2 on the other hand tells me these are terrific.

I've been eating a box a night, with the occasional strawberry cream box getting a look in biggrin

I got some of the Lidl mini stollen bites at the weekend. By the time I'd driven home, there were 5 left. It's a 5 mile drive. I was feeling a bit sick, but finished them in short order, and put the evidence in the outside bin so as to not arouse spousal suspicions.

She did seem a bit surprised I wasn't very hungry at lunch time.

hehe I had to check if that wasn't one of your own photos!.. I was going to say, don't post photos like that - they'll put their prices up!

Does look rather good.

yikes I managed three last night. And to be honest I was satisfied after two. They’re so rich.

So breakfast then hehe

My kids order takeaway while I’m at work and think they get away with it by putting the packaging in the bin... on the top of the recycling usually. Then ask what’s for dinner rolleyes

The chocolate covered ones from Aldi are an additional level of pleasurable self abuse again.

Was about to post about these, having just devoured one whilst poking a few bears over on N,P and E about the brexit.
It was very good, good price for what you get, the beef stock mayo was nice and the crunchy onion topping really finished it.
Couple of things though, first is that the 3 thin steaks you get are obviously machine packed, therefore at some point somewhere someone is bound to get a bad set of steaks due to the cut, also, they recommend way too much cooking time for said steaks. I did 1 minute either side as mine were very thin.
I think they were 3.99? Dread to think what the M&S price would be for such a kit........

I've found myself making a late night cuppa on several occasions just to give me an excuse to finish the pack in a day.

The need for "Stollen Anonymous" is becoming more apparent by the day.... hehe

Speaking as someone who is logging everything consumed into my Fitness pal app, with the aim of losing some kilogrammes and going down at least one trouser size, this thread and the dirty takeaway one are soon going to have to be unfollowed.

It's so bad that when I went into Lidl this morning for milk and eggs I deliberately averted my gaze away from the giant piles of stollen just inside the front door.

You're all a set of gits. Lost 5 kgs in three weeks though. Determined this time.

For those who enjoy white Burgundy, this is astonishingly good value:

What might sir recommend from the Aldi menu to accompany this?
I'm off there tomorrow as I usually treat myself on a Friday night as the wife and kids go to the chippy after swimming......
