Love the Fiveguys milkshakes! Shame my gut doesn't!
If anyone is local to Wimborne, Dorset https://www.facebook.com/woodfiredpiadizza/ does a great burger!

It really doesn't. In and out burger is like eating a fresh mcdonalds. Very average.
Agreed, none of these chains make a decent burger. If you're looking for a good one and are ever in Dallas, TX. Check out Angry Dog in Deep Ellum. That's a good burger.Adam B said:

Yup, well Sliders technically, but you get the gist. At the side is a pot of radioactive 'cheese' that you pour over the top and let it cascade down.
thereby making it impossible to eat with fingers without getting them covered in scolding hot cheese ?talk about style over substance - just make a good burger and stick it/them on a plate FFS

Nobody forced me to have it, it wasn't a surprise when they served it like that, I thought it was a nice bit of fun - that's all.

Tried it last weekend. Big poster on the wall saying the best burger you've ever had.
It was basically a couple of flat, uninspiring McDs patties in a burger.
The chips were decent enough, though, with the skin on. The lettuce was crisp, I suppose.
Nice to be able to put whatever toppings you want I suppose but you could have got the same for less in McD's if all you want is similar to a McD's.
Put it this way, as a taste test, I went into Wetherspoon's and ordered a burger the next day. That was much better and you get a pint of real ale.
And the staff aren't miserable.

5 guys in Luxembourg is always stupidly busy. It's about €15 for a buger meal! fk. that.
BK a few doors down is MUCH better - and cheaper!
Yeah but it says on the wall that 5 Guys is the best burger you'll ever have! Forget those £15+ burgers you get in posh restaurants. What you want is the proper cheap student canteen feel with teenagers shouting across the room at each other and fat chavs bouncing their handbags off the back of your head as they waddle past.BK a few doors down is MUCH better - and cheaper!

Woah! BK in Luxembourg? When I lived there we have to get a train to Trier if we wanted to go to Burger King. If you missed the ridiculously early last train home it was a very expensive burger!BK a few doors down is MUCH better - and cheaper!
I actually prefer Five Guys to In n Out, but my absolute favourite burger is from the Flying Cows: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/food-dri...

I've pretty much done the rounds with west coast fast food...
Wendy's burgers are good, their fries are excellent, In n out burgers are great, but i dont really like the fries, the best stuff is on the secret menu (animal style all the way).
Carls Jr are kind of greasy, Jack in the box have some really nice burgers...the croissant-wich is an interesting and tasty experience.
Shake shack is really nice, but way overpriced in the UK. IHOP and Denny's burgers aren't bad at all, but it's more about their breakfasts.
As a teenager I was a HUGE A&W fan, but i haven't been back to canada or anywhere in the states with a local one for a good 15 years or so.
All down to personal taste i guess...I do wish we had more chain fast food in the UK though, choices are so limited here compared to the US.
