London desperately needs an In-n-Out burger...makes five guys taste like 3 day old maccies.
It really doesn't. In and out burger is like eating a fresh mcdonalds. Very average.

Amazing how the humble beef burger can cause so much disagreement with some people raving about a place and others hating it.

Agreed, none of these chains make a decent burger. If you're looking for a good one and are ever in Dallas, TX. Check out Angry Dog in Deep Ellum. That's a good burger.

Yup, well Sliders technically, but you get the gist. At the side is a pot of radioactive 'cheese' that you pour over the top and let it cascade down.
thereby making it impossible to eat with fingers without getting them covered in scolding hot cheese ?

talk about style over substance - just make a good burger and stick it/them on a plate FFS

Where's the fun in that? I dare say I will remember for a very long time probably the one and only day of my life I had a burger kebab in NYC and the great time I had. If I had eaten a run of the mill burger served on a plate or a plastic basket then there's a real good chance it would just blur into the dozens and dozens of other burgers served on plates or in plastic baskets.

Nobody forced me to have it, it wasn't a surprise when they served it like that, I thought it was a nice bit of fun - that's all.

Tried it last weekend. Big poster on the wall saying the best burger you've ever had.

It was basically a couple of flat, uninspiring McDs patties in a burger.

The chips were decent enough, though, with the skin on. The lettuce was crisp, I suppose.

Nice to be able to put whatever toppings you want I suppose but you could have got the same for less in McD's if all you want is similar to a McD's.

Put it this way, as a taste test, I went into Wetherspoon's and ordered a burger the next day. That was much better and you get a pint of real ale.

And the staff aren't miserable.
Burgers 2 days running. You savage smile
biggrin Made up for it and went to a vegan festival. I hope you are happy!

Try the wings too. Their hot sauce is pretty decent.

5 guys in Luxembourg is always stupidly busy. It's about €15 for a buger meal! fk. that.

BK a few doors down is MUCH better - and cheaper!

Do the fries are the most famous recipe of Five Guys?

Yeah but it says on the wall that 5 Guys is the best burger you'll ever have! Forget those £15+ burgers you get in posh restaurants. What you want is the proper cheap student canteen feel with teenagers shouting across the room at each other and fat chavs bouncing their handbags off the back of your head as they waddle past.

Controversial maybe... but the Drive-thru burger that Wetherspoons serves is actually really decent, especially given the low price.

Woah! BK in Luxembourg? When I lived there we have to get a train to Trier if we wanted to go to Burger King. If you missed the ridiculously early last train home it was a very expensive burger!

I actually prefer Five Guys to In n Out, but my absolute favourite burger is from the Flying Cows: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/food-dri...

I've pretty much done the rounds with west coast fast food...

Wendy's burgers are good, their fries are excellent, In n out burgers are great, but i dont really like the fries, the best stuff is on the secret menu (animal style all the way).

Carls Jr are kind of greasy, Jack in the box have some really nice burgers...the croissant-wich is an interesting and tasty experience.

Shake shack is really nice, but way overpriced in the UK. IHOP and Denny's burgers aren't bad at all, but it's more about their breakfasts.

As a teenager I was a HUGE A&W fan, but i haven't been back to canada or anywhere in the states with a local one for a good 15 years or so.

All down to personal taste i guess...I do wish we had more chain fast food in the UK though, choices are so limited here compared to the US.
