Likewise, though not in photo, arancini doth not sit on a breakfast menu. They may be nice, but really really not breakfast items, risotto rice balls filled with Ragu / cheese coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried. nono
I suppose it was “brunch” so chips and aranchini could be acceptable. It was just rice and truffle and cheese deep fried. Imagine they would love them if Scotland was ever posh

Late entry to the Saturday showdown.

Saussies were Morrisons Old Pork. Bacon dry cured, same vendor. They'd run out of g-free black pudding, and mushrooms would have been welcome but hey, it was tasty.

In mitigation, salad cream works with beans on toast, as the mustard in the salad cream cuts through the sweetness of tomato sauce.....

I need some savoury taste as I tend to snack on sweet stuff whilst out cycling....

You'll not be a fan of the marmalade breakaway movement then. As much as I like beans on toast, also salad cream in the right circumstances, ie with salad, that looks a bit dodgy but if it's what you enjoy who are we to say it's just wrong.
