You bad men.

I've jumped on the 20% off at Gozney. For the Roccbox. So - that was a great shout. THANKS !
My first choice colour (olive) sold out as it was added to my basket. Grey will do fine.

I have a tiny kitchen, and hate cooking in it when I have people around - too hot - looking forward to cooking for people outside.

What temperature are you all cooking at in the pizza ovens? I'm using a BGE and aim for 400c although today it went a bit ott to circa 450c but cooked really well. Sadly didn't get any pics as they got troughed immediately.

400c is the minimum for me, if its a lot hoter than that >440 it gives a good base and crust but I find it burns a bit quickly before the cheese has bubbled.

I use wood so it's hard to maintain a consistent temperature.

I've posted this elsewhere on here, I went to a newly opened food hall in my city centre the other day, lots of different food stalls and I decided to try a slice of Detroit pizza. At £8 per slice I assumed it would be something special, but when I got was a ting slice, smaller than a Greggs pizza slice yet tasted exactly the same. Very disappointed for the money. But at least it made me appreciate my home made Ooni pizzas..

Oh dear, that’s pretty sad!

On the contrary, this was £12 (with the 1/2 pint) at my local place. I don’t bother with my pizza oven anymore…

Went to Homebase earlier and they have a basic looking gas oven on sale at £100. Anyone got one or tried one?

Feels like a bargain and worth a try but assume the temperature regulation might be lacking compared to better models etc

Looks alright, it has 90 quid off so its not total cheapy crap. Says it can reach 460c. Regulating the temp with gas should be OK because you have a constant source of heat, with wood it's much more up and down as you add more in.

I've just completed building my outside kitchen/Bar. Amazing what you can do with a few pallets. Gas BBQ for everyday grilling and a regular Webber. Also a wood fired pizza oven

The top of the wood store looks like it’s bowing from the weight of the pizza oven. You might need a thicker bit of wood, or some strengthening beams.

How well does the OSB hold up ?

I decided to use 600x1200 smooth porcelain tiles as a counter top as I wanted a pizza prep area next to the oven. I also have a couple of BBQ's, so just pull out whatever I want to use that night from the shelves below
