Aldi Emporium cheese spread.

Since being a kid I've always liked a bit of spreadable Dairylea on toast, but Aldi's version is just as good if not better, and much cheaper.

Must look out for that. thumbup

Yes, amongst the other soft cheeses. Maybe try a different branch?

IIRC it shares a box 50/50 with their Dairylea equivalent which is in a yellow pot.

Whilst in the subject of cheese. Aldi bakes cheese thins. Approx 50p. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. Because I can’t just eat one or two. They’re horribly addictive. Hate. Hate. Hate.

I’ve just finished a packet off.

Hateful things.

Those aren’t the equivalent of Cheddars are they? (As in- the full size version of mini cheddars )

Because when I had some they were one of the few products I throughly were a bit of a duffer.

Is it from Aldi though? - couldn't see any last night (found the cheddar spread though - very good) - and I found that image in a Lidl article?

They do some larger crispbread type things (Emmental & Pumpkin seed is one type) which are a huge disappointment though; utterly tasteless & worse than cardboard. The Pot Noodle rip off is possible the vilest thing I've ever tried to eat & are even worse than the boiled silkworkm larvae I had as a pub snack in Korea.

The two layer yogurts are lush though, as is the Beef Hash ready meal. I'll try the cheese thins when I go in tomorrow.

I'm like that with Tesco own Salted Popcorn. But then my missus comes home with a bag and I end up eating it and having to go out and buy 2 replacements biggrin
