Bloody wonderful stuff.

Mandatory accompaniment to a blustery seaside fish & chips, IMO.

£25?! I hope it was a double.
Doubtful. I am still annoyed at the nan shortage
Well at least you weren't charged for it ...............
It was supposed to be included with the mixed grill. Oh well, I am over it now.

A mysterious fire took firefighters six hours to extinguish at a takeaway last night. Police believe that it may have been started deliberately, stating that a suspicious individual was noted pushing what appeared to be a flaming naan bread through the restaurant's letterbox in the early hours of the morning

I do like visiting South Africa... If they say something is going to be spicy hot they mean it!

Chicken Amernaga (chicken tikka in a hot and fruity, nutty sauce)
Malai mix (okra, green beans, chilli and garlic)
Special fried rice (chickpeas, spinach, garlic and chilli)
Keema naan with chilli

All for R160 which is about £10

Sounds lovely, not dirty at all smile
Although that radioactive looking dip/sauce may allow for some more acceptance smile

Ben Shaws Dandelion and Burdock. Nectar. Having been born and brought up in Huddersfield, Ben Shaws were our local pop manufacturer. That flavour has forever a special place in our memories.

A light snack while the wife is out.

Despite looking like roadkill it was rather tasty. There is a stload of chicken behind/underneath the doner.

very nice and dirty, after several beers i'd love that, especially with that kind of jarred chili sauce.

It actually looks like an animal was sacrificed and stuffed into a paper bag.

Sadly no pics. Got a chicken shish from Crystal Kebabs which is next door to Kings Cross on my way back from the big smoke. Made up for the stty Leeds result.
I had to copy that from the previous incarnation of this thread.

I fancied a chicken shish for lunch today (Asian Spiced Chicken was not in Granary Square), the queue was slightly out the door. Anyone know if it's any good?

Not many Chinese pics on here of late, here’s mine from last few months, they’re all pretty much the same though...

We used to have a van come round every Saturday with loads of different flavours of 'Pop' Proper Glass bottles in crates, they took away the empties as well. D&B was always a big favourite and still is but not many places seem to stock it.
Will have to have a look around!!

Big glass bottles, with an internally screwed neck. The stopper was a threaded black plug made of not sure exactly what material, with an orange rubber seal. That plus we always had a Ben Shaw's soda syphon on the go.
