Tragic destruction of a great brand formula.
yep.

buy a pub chain thats famous for its real ales then stop doing what bought the customers there in the first place and only offer the same crap beer thats for sale in the rest of your struggling pubs.

ruined a very good business and my fav boozer.
Bugger. I was somewhere I hadn't been before recently and noticed a Firkin pub and was hoping for the best!

Dogbolter - NOT to be drunk at lunchtimes, not unless you want to have a very silly afternoon in the office whistle

The original sugar free drink? For some reason it was so fizzy it was almost impossible to slug it down, could only take sips.

Colman's French Mustard
They apparently were forced to abandon it by the EU when they bought French mustard maker Amora Maille.

Pan Yan Pickle

I wish Safeway came back as a supermarket just for Safeway Select cola. Nicer than Coke, cheaper than water. Bliss.

God, I used to live on them, it was a weekly post hockey ritual. I do wonder though - was their demise linked to the fact they were 95% salt and e-numbers?

If it's what I'm thinking of, I used to love the chocolate one. Was it a type of hot mousse with biscuit bits sprinkled on top?
