Depending of how much you love cooking and your budget but as a professional, we use Mauviel or De buyer if money is a bit tight. Nothing come close to the first one, and nothing close to second one if it's durability and reasonably price you are looking for.
Enjoy.
This is my favourite Mauviel pan, bought it 14 years ago along with a couple of others.Enjoy.

Another vote for Mauviel Copper. My uncle recently changed to induction so they no longer work and were donated to me, I think my daughter will inherit them, they are really good but quite expensive
Quite?I looked at a set that was £1850 for a set of 5.

Well the Le Cruset s/s saucepans I bought two days ago from JL is going back on the strength of that SG deal!
A Classic 3 pan set, 30cm frying pan, 24cm chef pan, 36cm paella pan and 3 trays for under £300. Well done pistonheads!

Wow. Seriously impressed with the skills involved. Potentially very dangerous the way he rests his hand on the spinning metal. If you think I’m being nanny state, just look on youtube for lathe accidents. A Classic 3 pan set, 30cm frying pan, 24cm chef pan, 36cm paella pan and 3 trays for under £300. Well done pistonheads!

Frying pan look like a stainless lining? Are the others tin? I'm toying with starting a collection.I've just ordered a Samuel Groves 11" Classic stainless steel try-ply frying pan for induction hob, £35 using the 50% code, thanks.
I wanted the copper induction pan, but I just know the wife will put it in the dishwasher like she does everything. She once left my De Buyer pan in the washing up bowl full of soapy water. I had to clean al the rust off!!. This stainless steel pan is dishwasher friendly, though I always wash my good pans by hand, and often without any detergent as it removes the seasoning.

Not wishing to hijack the thread too much but........ Has anyone bought any of these scoville non-stick pans you see in all the supermarkets?
they boast being 5x better than teflon, yet a good £5-10 cheaper than a comparable frying pan. But i can't see much info or in depth opinions about them regarding their nonstick-ability and longevity

Has anyone received their order from Samuel Groves yet? I ordered on the 26th Nov
Still waiting, ordered same day as you. When I called she said they were behind with deliveries due to the volume of orders they received for that promotion...Hopefully will arrive in another week or so.
Hmmm. They're sneaky barstewards aren't they?!
I checked my confirmation email on the back of your post. The £286 they told me I'd pay at checkout is actually charged plus VAT so £344 according to the confirmation email.
Normally on really annoying websites, they spring the VAT at the checkout. With SG it appears they don't even do that!
Here's a quick example I've done on a random saucepan. This is the screen you get at checkout and 'click to order'. That's an £87 saucepan isn't it...? Nope.
