The Fat Duck closed down!

ive yet to go to the fat duck - keep on meaning too but then a better use for the money comes up.

However, have been to Hinds head. I thought it was good food, but not so good that I wouldn't expect most of it in another good pub - the problem being that the hind's head was 2x the price of a similar place

Reports today say its gone from 40 to 400 people affected now (the extra 360 seem to have suddenly realised since its been closed!)

Can't help feeling that his initial comment about 'personally inviting them all back for the experience' might have had something to do with that...

I saw that, my first thought was "that's convenient, where did these other 360 people suddenly crawl out from". Peoples greed never ceases to amaze me.

It kind of has a similar theme to that of the Andrew Sachs answer phone fiasco about it. Shame people are like that..
