Blimey JT, your marmite obsession is pretty scary!

Might be off to Oz in a couple of weeks - if there are any cheese/marmite/vegemite combos you fancy I don't mind bringing you some back.

It's not that bad.... Honest smile

And an Oz jar of marmite would be cool smile Failing that some Vegemite with Kraft wouldn't go amiss !

Thanks!

I've seen that - it's just a big, circular, lid though....

Just tried some of this - It’s not too marmitey – an odd aftertaste which lingers which is where you can taste the marmite. I can’t decide whether I like it or not. About 30 seconds after swallowing is where the taste of the marmite hits properly – I dunno, I just don’t know....

Tried the Marmite chocolate last night. Peculiar is a good name for it. It starts off being sweet with a vague marmiteyness, but as posted above it's after it melts and you swallow that the oddness happens.

It's kind of like a salty vegetable broth that was sweetened with chocolate. Very odd. And not something you can chew through a bar of.

It was part of a Marmite themed gift for Christmas and came with a marmite shaped bowl with breadsticks and cashews.

I was also given a bar of Marmite chocolate for Christmas. A few squares were eaten and then it's back in the cupboard! I want to like it, but it just tastes a bit wrong.

Crumpets with Marmite and Mustard? What sort of quantities? I'll be getting me some Crumpets tomorrow to try this!

I do like my marmite, but I've recently been having it with shredless marmalade on thick buttered white toast.

It's the sweet and savoury combo that does it for me, hope that doesn't upset the purists here!

Well I'd say it's down to you but I am a lover of strong flavours so I load it up with as much Marmite and as much mustard as I an handle.

It really is lovely

Ok, crumpetsended up as pikelets as we don't own any Crumpet rings! Tasted good though, putting mustard and marmite on them hasn't been tried yet!
