Last week of garden leave before new job, so treated myself to a nosh at the local Irish cafe.

Hard to fault. Nice work.

Good luck with the new job - is it chef-ing? smile

Swap half the mushrooms for another sausage, reduce the beans and that, for me, would be 10/10.
Looks great.

I’d like to see some evidence of molten yolks and a good dollop of Branson Fruity but otherwise superb smile

Ikea breakfast in Dubai. Yours for 1 dirham. That’s around 20p.

Someone posted it elsewhere.
Were those sausages cooked by breathing on them for a few seconds?

Made these a little while back, my take on a breakfast burrito/taco (got flamed on reddit by Americans for calling it a burrito!)

Thin omelette and the filling is potatoes tossed in paprika/salt/pepper/oil, shredded chicken, coriander, ginger, green chilli and sour cream.

What's happened to the photo uploader? It doesn't want to upload.

Today Royal Navy favourite, cheesy wham bam.

I suspect if you’re trying to upload a photo taken on anything later than a iPhone 6, it’s too big a photo for this rubbish photo hosting site to handle, I have to email the photo to myself select send as a less than 2mb photo and then save it from the email then upload it

It is, also known as cheesyhammyeggy

Slice of toast
Slice of ham
Grated cheese, full grain mustard, Worcester sauce mixed to give a paste, spread on top.
Under hot grill till brown and bubbles.
Fried egg sunny side up on top. "Poached egg if being posh"

Above photo is not mine btw, I use more cheese, and not just mousetrap but mixture cheddar and low moisture mozzarella.

Looks good to me, but the trouble with bacon on top of the toast is that you get bread-structural-compression as you cut the bacon and end up squidging it all down; how does one deal with this?

A sausage and/or black pudding would have been perfect but unfortunately I had been let down by the Quartermaster. However, she did make up for it with the fried bread. I couldn't even remember the last time I had fried bread...

Schoolboy error, mushrooms too close to the hash browns, therefore contaminated with shroom juice.

Forgive me. I’ve gone “full council”. This is actually worse than BrabusMog’s insistence on spaghetti hoops. I just plead that the sentence of the tribunal is quick and as painless as possible. I don’t deserve it, having seen a couple of the recent offerings. I particularly liked Miniman’s, but agree, more sausage would have helped. I’d even give those burrito/taco things a go, just without the coriander for me.

My breakfast today consisted of cheapo thick sliced white bread, lightly toasted. Loads of butter. “Oops shelf” sausage roll (and if that’s not bad enough, I heated it in the microwave). Heinz ketchup.

Gentlemen, I present to you, the sausage roll toastie. May god have mercy on my soul.

Revel in the greyness of the “meat”.

I’ll get my coat. I’ll miss you all, each and every one of you.

I’m sorry.
