My other half is away from tomorrow so wanted to go out for chinese tonight

We shared Yuk Sung and Crispy Duck to start then sweet and sour chicken, fillet of beef in black bean and king prawn with cashew nuts in birds nest plus rice. Very full now but it was good. Diet next week

They look superb Pferdestarke! Did you cook them yourself? If so, could I be cheeky and ask for the recipe and method? Understand completely if you've not got the time to write it out so just some pointers would help. I'm guessing that you have twice fried the wings after coating in flour and seasoning including 5 spice then knocked up a sauce with ginger, garlic, chilli, soy, honey, lime, fish sauce possibly some lemon grass in it maybe star anise while it cooks down then toasted peanuts and crushed them to sprinkle on top for texture?

Far simpler than you imagine JK.

Oven roasted wings at 210c with salt until desired colour achieved.

Sauce is Korean hot bean paste, soy, shaoxing, honey and sesame oil. Reduce to caramel, coat, crushed dry roast nuts on top.
