How some of you make it to work on Monday morning without being forced to stop in a field half way there is beyond me.

I’m going to defend giblet and say that’s a normal chapli kebab, they’re pretty tasty when done well. I would eat that over most of the slop here (with a naan though )

It's not often one is so disappointed... not had a Burger King for a time so long it doesn't bear measurement.

I give you a double XL bacon cheese burger. AKA a large dry bun, two dry beef patties, flaccid bacon in the middle and plastic cheese.

It didn't taste *bad* but I don't expect to add my own sauce... I suppose if i wanted accoutrements I should have ordered a whopper . Onion rings and chips were okay, the 'chicken fries' were ordered blind and effectively small chicken goujons.

Oh, and it probably cost a thousand pounds as it was via one of those delivery apps.

BK bacon double cheeseburgers have never come with sauce. You need 2 ketchup sachets as part of the order

Fair play, my expectations were certainly mismatched with the reality . I did have ketchup in the fridge so all was not lost.

Bacon double cheeseburger, extra burger, bacon, cheese and no salad. The whopper is the wrong one.

They make a decent meat free version now, better than the mcplant imo.

Think they cost around the same these days, but the Bacon Cheese XL is a Double Whopper with Bacon and Cheese but without the salad and the ketchup/mayo combo that makes them so damned tasty.

Big King XLs are also acceptable if a) they're actually available and b) the sauce doesn't repeat on you all afternoon like it does me.

Anyway popped out for some lunch with the plan of getting a BLT from the Co Op. I looked at the price of a meal deal, looked at the Chippy next door and ended up with:
