£12 of money-off vouchers if you spend £200, plus various, in-app scratchcard wins and product-specific offers.

Have just found out that Aldi has delisted their Greek yoghurt. Genuinely gutted by the news.

It was without doubt the best supermarket-label Greek yoghurt you could buy and a substantial discount over others' premium products, let alone Fage.

My Aldi spend is going down and down. Used to be about £300 per month in Aldi, £25 in Lidl, and another £75 across other supermarkets.

Since Lidl launched their app, it's about £225 with Lidl, £75 in Aldi and £100 elsewhere. And that £75 is likely to slide further as there are less and less reasons to go there.

The original Greek yoghurt was great, but I think it’s replacement is still pretty good.

Good to know.

I've bought a tub of the new kilo jobbie. Looks suspiciously like the Lidl one though, which I definitely found inferior. And if that's all there is, I'll just buy it in Lidl.

I stopped off at Aldi after work to pick up my weekly 48 tins of cat food and also bought some of the .09p stock. Half a dozen tubs of chocolate snowmen (I make Tiffin on a regular basis so this melted down for topping will be great, once I’ve unwrapped all the little bds) and some Mince Pies good until end of January. Not much else left though.

OT: V8Mate - Whilst in the subject of filth (re Corned Beef) S2 of Bonding is out on the 22nd Jan. I’m sure you recommended this to me? I thought it was my eldest but he says he’s not heard of it! Rewatched S1 at the weekend with my, friend, he loved it so hungry for S2.

Brilliant. I’m glad it was you! Random thing to post in here and it threw me when my lad didn’t know what I was talking about... Rewatched it all in one evening and it was such a great series. Sorry to hear your week isn’t being kind to you. Mine are getting harder to get through at the moment. Tied up at work a lot wink

The deluxe onion rings from lidls are brilliant. Hardly ever in stock though. Shame.

This week I have mostly been eating Aldi Carlos stone bake frozen pizzas. In particular the chicken and chorizo, they’re good for the price, £1.59 from memory.

Yep. Aldi is certainly pizza king of all the supermarkets, across both frozen and fresh products.

The Aldi goats cheese and red onion pizza is very good, tried it after a recommendation here and there are now always 2 or 3 in the freezer.

I tried the Specially Selected Etna one as well, I preferred the cheaper Stonebake ones.

Just been to Aldi for the first time in a while and came back with a few extra, Box of Becks for £10 which works out cheaper than their own brand per litre and a Torque Wrench, these had been at £25 for a while and are now down to £16, should be perfect for checking wheel nuts and occasional use.
