Surprised people know about this! I'm big lover of instant noodles and this is definitely on my top listI don't mind pot noodles but to be they don't taste as nice as the packet ones.
Another favorite below which I've found in a Chinese supermarket in Birmingham (warning, very spicy!)
edit: found on amazon too but quite a high mark up...

Ive been looking to find a quick snack to have at work.
Pot Noodles are the work of satan IMO but I gave the Nissin Soba noodles a go and they are in different league. Mostly because you drain the water out rather than having a noodle soup.
I tried a few of the different flavours but the best for me is the plain one but add your own hot sauce.

now we're talking......................................................If you're making them at home in a pot wouldn't you be as well to just get some miso and make your own?
Miso, hot water, noodles and whatever other bits and pieces you want to chuck in. You've got a basic and delicious bowl of ramen. Wouldn't take much if any longer than making the packet ones either.

Most of my noodling is done at work as Wifey hates the smell!!Miso, hot water, noodles and whatever other bits and pieces you want to chuck in. You've got a basic and delicious bowl of ramen. Wouldn't take much if any longer than making the packet ones either.
But yes I have a varied range of Miso soups in my cupboard and often experiment with them. I’m more of a Korean fan and find Japanese (Miso etc) a bit wish washy though. Korean Chilli pastes are more my taste.
Should be having an Amazon delivery today that includes some Black Chilli paste to try.
Time for a stock check of my noodle cupboard......
These have to go - flat rice noodles, slimy things and
All my “add in” sauces and dried ingredients can stay....
Along with yesterday’s delivery......
Nice and tidy with loads of space for new stuff....
Wifey will be pleased......until She wants her Corn Flakes or Weetabix
