Limited edition foodstuffs.... (Marmite in this case)
Discussion
A significant part of my business is sourcing and supplying limited edition stuff as well as low volume and collectibles in the food sector. Marmite is in crazy demand, not just with expats either I hasten to add. As for the limited edition stuff, I don't have any but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you in future. I do love it, so it's not exactly a chore

I've got champagne and guiness which are well out of date now (over a year out) I guess I should still be ok eating them?????
I suspect you're about to be told no, and that they must be disposed of properly by law, via some chap in north lincs Stu R said:

Thanks - I got the champagne one from a helpful PHer, but I'm nearing the end of it - the XO and the standard stuff is nearly finished too, but they're easily gotten hold of.The others are a lot harder to get. Tasty too

No. You can't eat it. Send it to me and I'll help out here This isn't exactly Marmite, but I've ordered a bottle along with a few other items from the store:

Interested to see what it's like.

Interestingly enough not an hour after replying to this thread I got a call from a magazine / website writer asking for some information on Denmark's recent ban, then back-peddling and bluster. I wrote a blog article about it a wee while ago.
Is today national marmite day or something? That seems too spooky a coincidence

Sainsburys is the place but it's flying out. Got one jar one evening, went back the next day and it was stripped bare. Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
