as tasty as these raw dough pizzas are they never cook properly. the crust is fine. but the area with the topping is always limp and sticks to the tray.
mine defrosted on way home, so had to scrap it out. Was a eight mess, the dough that cooked was nice, the stuff under the toppings was raw.

Think we're thinking of different pizzas Spruce, the one I posted is in the fridge not freezer section.

It’s very good, I’ve had it in France many times. Costs under £4 there.
Was indeed very good. I paid around €6 in my local shop. I'm thinking of buying a case for Chrimbo gifts.

Ah o.k

In other news, new bigger LIDL opened, yet can't get a signal to use app.

Same in my local Lidl. You have to remember to pre-open the app before going in.

I've got in the habit of doing that anyway - see what that week's offers are.

The old store, 20 metres away no issues.. you can't get it in the carpark. The check out bloke said they are looking at WiFi inside, but really surprised something like that was over looked. The store is really good though, massive.

Lidl deluxe salted caramel hot chocolate. Its quite sweet but possibly one of the best I've tried. so thick and creamy. Going to pick up a standard versions and give that a go to.

One thing I pray they are out of stock of is those filled caramel ring donuts on the bakery. Im weak for them and they were on special 3 for a £1 the other day weeping

resistance is futile...... they keep baking them and i keep buying them

Aldi and I’m not one to comment, I’d say it was fairly spicy rather than hot but my regular order at the local restaurant curry is made with naga chillies

Have been meaning to post this for ages.

From Aldi... these are absolutely cracking with a cooked breakfast. Nice variety of beans and smokey/spicy sauce.

Careful: they're in a mixed a case with some other mixed beans, so you need to sort through carefully.

These are ace if you're cooking for a crowd and making a massive pile of nachos as a sharing starter. Strips of chicken baked smothered with jerk sauce. Onions peppers lightly softened in pan. Then build the nachos, tortilla chips, chicken, onions peppers, bean mix as above, cheese mixture of choice, we go mixture of cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey Jack.

Then into the oven to get a gooey, cheesy, spicy pile of lick

I can confirm that the (fairly) new cheese stuff crust pizza's are spot on. With an accompaniment from the related takeaway range enough for two. The Garlic dip that goes with them is nice too. The meat feast version is a bit bland mind.

Just had exactly the same problem with the new burger version. My oven is not the best but never normally have a problem with pizzas. Followed the instructions and went (as normal) for the longest suggested time. Pizza nicely cooked on top, base raw (and tasted raw) ... - I did wonder if it was down to then pickles as I've had other burger style pizzas and on those the pickles seem to produce more liquid, but looks like maybe not.

Do you put the pizza on a tray?

Yes - and also yes to pre-heated. Only thing in the instructions i skipped was using a baking sheet, and all that will do is stop the base sticking to the tray (which it should not do if it cooks properly).

I had the 'NEW' Carlos Takeaway Meat Feast last night...

Was okay - not too doughy either - cooked it on one of those oven trays with the holes in.

Added some peppers & a handful of cheese.

...I'm sticking with the Stone Baked Thin and Crispy American Hot or the other meat one - those are great!
