I love the idea, but with all the weird and wonderful whisky bottles that come out, I don't think you could have chosen a more ordinary looking bottle to use! hehe

It was what I had empty at the time. Wanted to see if it would actually work more than anything.

Good stuff, let us know how you get on with it. Cracking neat or with a small splash of water.

I really should join this thread. I accidently seem to have began a little collection, some open and some to be kept. It seems that on a return leg of a business trip I pick something up, especially when it's been in Saudi Arabia!

Currently sitting in Bahrain on the way home and eyeing up a Talisker Dark Storm in the Duty Free.

Buy it. A very drinkable dram.

Randomly won a £75 gift card for Asda, just curious, is there anything that would be worth looking at buying from there?

Can you malt rye? It looks like its a Single Malt made with 100% rye?

Am I being thick, but I've never heard of it.

I noticed that yesterday.

I note that on the Master of Malt website, the label has been changed and reads, "Single Rye Whisky".

I've never heard of it either but here's another one that's 100% rye:

Might be worth a go!

I'm currently getting my rye intake from this:

That's a different bottle I think:

Anyone tried Talisker Skye? Opinion seems to be divided whether it's a pleasant drop or a cynical marketing exercise
