Aldi was heaving this morning and there were numerous shortages. A combination of a local football event tomorrow and panic buying according to staff, with the latter, the teller said it's easily recognisable.
Have Aldi moved into America now?
And even there, a teller works at a bank counter; a shop assistant is a store clerk.
Tellers tell me things, that's what he did tongue out

The Butter chicken one is excellent, teamed up with the Naan wraps they have! Really enjoyed it!

A pizza stone in the oven will really help with soggy store bought pizzas. The base needs direct heat.

My local supermarket just reopened as a Lidl so interested in whats good. So far, the cheese straws are nice!

I thought I had replied, mine was peri peri and it was nice but the spice was all over the place, some bits mild others quite spicy. Will deffo try a butter chicken one as the chicken was lovely and moist and then I can add spicy sauce to my taste.

The wife complained that the peri peri one was too spicy but she would.

Luxembourg Lidl has a buy one get one free on these. Even full price they're only €2.99, but at half that it's a steal. 6 in the trolley.

Ooooooohhhhhhhh..... *jumps in the car*

Bought a bottle of this yesterday, just opened it to give it an airing before this evening, it’s bloody corked! Trip back to Aldi today!

which branch still has those in? i've not seen any on the shelves in (a few local) branches this year - and it's not showing on line either frown

Ramsbottom. There were quite a few bottles. They won’t sell well round here at £8!

I tried this wine last night. Really liked it, was slightly sweeter than the aimone one which is also well liked. So much prefer this sweeter red wine, any one with recommendations of similar ones?

side note..ive noted the corks lately seem to be crap. I'll go to putting the corkscrew in and the cork either crumbles, or pushes itself further into the bottle. Very annoying!"

I swapped it at lunch time, the new bottle is fine but I agree, the corks do seem poor.

It is a little sweeter, heavy quality stuff, but I actually prefer the boggo Aldi/Lidl Primitivo which is a bit less Ribena and a few quid cheaper too.

Almost 30% price rise in Aldi on the cat food I buy. That equates to just over £200 a year for me. Not exactly ecstatic about it frown

With your rescue efforts, can you not buy in large quantities online/wholesale/via the cat charity? As retail is for the people with one or two cats.
