They just look a bit old fashioned, it’s such a nice pie, it would have looked better in a white ceramic dish

I bought Dan Toombs’ book - The Curry Guy and I’ve been really impressed.

This was a very enjoyable chicken thigh curry, probably close to a jalfrezi in heat but far richer.



And then as it is Sunday, we had rib roast. Get me - all American! Was good though.
