This looks indescribably awesome and I would like to eat that right now. Sausage, Egg and Chips. Absolute winner of a combination and with an international twist. Those sausages look like they are big enough which many sausages plain aren't.

Very nice.

When am I coming round for dinner?
Any time bro...my sausage is always free....;-)

Continuing the sausage theme, Pork and Leek from Goddards in Norfolk, one of their Pork and Apple burgers, Unsmoked Back Bacon with Greek Lentils that her indoors made. Her sourdough bread too.

Start it in a cold pan, skin side down. Fat renders out without cooking the meat so much.
Cold pan, then a low heat for a while to render the fat out, drain it a bit then whack it up high for the last bit. The dogs love to stand beneath the cooker catching the red hot fat as it spits all over the place biggrin

Mr Roper, you funny guy. biggrin

Oh and it says 'Wednesday' on the picture as my missus is recovering from an operation and has been at home recovering for the last 5 weeks, so she's a bit bored and is also going mental.

Bought a copy of Dan Toombs’ book The Curry Guy and tried out the Chicken Jalfrezi recipe.

Made the base gravy in the Instant Pot pressure cooker beforehand. You can make the base gravy well ahead of time and freeze in batches.

A proper UK restaurant style curry at home.

Very nice indeed.

Yep,

Get it hot, slap the dough on, top as quick as you can and straight under a red hot grill until its done.

Seems to work well, Tony. Never thought about the ‘grill’. I make scratch pizza once a week now. Take it quite seriously. I haven’t bought a pizza for nearly 2 years. It’s so easy doing it at home. And the taste
