Chicken Dhansak and rice leftovers, with 8 poppadoms and a Stella. Copious amounts of butter on the poorly reheated rice.
Regardless, a bold breakfast choice.
I concur about the choice though. It's 2 stages past my acceptable Tuesday morning breakfast levels. This guy is clearly living in 3020, so still on furlough.
It's a pint can of do-as-you're-told and Tesco poppadoms which are on the small side. Don't really have the space to make breads or I'd be serving parotta with every curry.
Cook Indian style food twice a week and that was probably in my top three. It's easy to cock up the balance of sweet/sour/spice in a Dhansak which is why I use it to test new restaurants and why I hadn't cooked it before; too afraid of getting it wrong! Really chuffed with the result, less impressed that my nearest supermarket doesn't sell any kind of tamarind whatsoever!

Heart attack on a plate.... Had the fryer on for the hash browns so had a go at fried bread, blotted it on some kitchen roll and kept it warm in a low oven. Turned our pretty well, nice a crisp and not overly oily - made a nice change from toast but couldn't eat it too often.
A colourful feast there. Nice work. Gluggy said:

Grr. Those bloody plates again.Such good content that I can almost overlook them, but not quite.

Photo is has been re-sized but that's it, think its the camera making a mess of the colour balance - not sure how old my phone is but previous owner was some guy called Noah who said something about a boat and not being able to get a signal.....
