England football weekend.
Do love my Yorkshire puddings as you know from the Fray Bentos experiments so I did them for finger nibbles with some really hot chillies my cousin sent down from Cheshire and also pudding with ice cream and maple syrup.
2.4kg of ribs as well. Done in the oven at 3 hours / 120C plus 20 mins at 200C to finish
Dog got something he liked also.
those were very very hot, so needed these to cool down.

Lovely week spent in Cyprus. Delighted to find a traditional charcoal BBQ at our villa complete with spits. Fantastic produce from the markets and supermarkets, huge range of very fresh fish, and quality meats. Still dreaming of the tomatoes, absolutely delicious. Think I gained half a stone.
Pictures are a bit poor, and presentation lacking, but I didn't care, It was nice to cook for fun again and to get back to concentrating on the ingredients themselves. :-)
Pork Shoulder over charcoal:
Classic Feta and tomato salad:
Sea Bass, stuffed with dill and lemon:
..and then BBQ'd:

Except parmesan isn't vegetarian...
Other cheeses are available ;-) Even veggie parmesan, although it cannot technically be called Parmesan! You know what I meant! :-) Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
