Slight change of scenery, sausage, crispy bacon and harsh brown bap. From some dirty beachside cafe. Amazing

Roger. Thought it was Meant to mean me being deluded.

There is a half-life of about 90 minutes for food from these cafes, once past, you probably won’t be ill.

It's the first breakfast you've posted for a while that I actually want to eat. Meant you were back on form.

(Sorry if it wasn't clear, I'm largely through a holiday bottle of lunchtime red).

Friday oven bottoms

Cheese spam egg brown. Buford brown eggs, I find them the perfect size for an oven bottom particularly when fresh.

Sauce was added, and those hash browns were holding onto a lot of fat. On route to today’s brunch, photo to follow.

Other half has failed. Dirty cafe is shut, had to come to swanky place for lunch instead. They serve avocado for goodness sake.

Ooh - is that tinned tomato juice over the top ? As a 17 year old worked @ Waddingtons One summer making Monopoly/Top Trumps etc

Canteen used to dip top of bap/bread-cake in the tinned tomato juice For the early break.

The first fry up I've had in probably a year or so. I realise it wasn't a great one but after going without for so long it certainly hit the spot biggrin. 10 euros for 4 bacon, 3 sausages, a bean lake, tomato, mushrooms, 2 toast and 2 fried eggs. And a portion of chips. Along with a plate of fruit, a coffee and a fresh orange juice. Great value even if not the best quality smile

I kindly let the mrs have the orange juice and coffee and went with a pint.

I don't think I'll have another fry up for several months but I did enjoy that Portuguese attempt at a fry up even if it wasn't the best ever!
