I live in Zürich, so finding it isn't a problem (it's available in my local supermarket in fact) but have always assumed it'd be overpriced and selling on the 'Swissness' rather than the quality of the drink.
I'm flying to London and back tomorrow so might grab something from LHR, but will pick up a bottle of the Swiss malt as well next time I reach the bottom of a bottle (cupboard space is limited at the moment!).
I guess you've probably stumbled upon Glen Fahrn's shop in the old town, which has a great range but also seem to be one of the main stockists of Santis malts? It has the main range in 20cl, 50cl, and 70cl bottles - so less risk of buying somthing you don't like if you stick to the samller battles, and they seemed to have samples open last time I was there.I'm flying to London and back tomorrow so might grab something from LHR, but will pick up a bottle of the Swiss malt as well next time I reach the bottom of a bottle (cupboard space is limited at the moment!).
Another regular source of Swiss whisky for me is Kaser Schloss in the Markt Hall on Viadukt Strasse, which has the same owner as Whisky Castle distillery and carries their full range - you might even bump into Rudi Kaser, who started the distillery..

Superb service and such an improvement over previous years ordering / delivery. Whoever has "fixed" this deserves a massive pat on the back.
Now, what to do this evening...
Mine arrived this morning too. Now, what to do this evening...
As you say, a much better experience all round.
I note that Ardbeg has stuck to "basic" presentation of the bottles themselves (not the packaging for transit which was superb). No fancy boxes here.

I agree on the presentation side but i can't really grump too much as the postage was free!As you say, a much better experience all round.

Looking forward to a cheeky taste this evening.

nice one. When you say 'fixed', all they've done is outsource the e-commerce facility that deals with these new releases with expected spikes in demand. That's why it's on a different website. It can cope with the tons of people piling on there to sell them out in 20 mins flat!Superb service and such an improvement over previous years ordering / delivery. That's true but as far as A J Punter is concerned, there is now at least a chance of getting a hold of one or two bottles without spending 5 hours pressing F5 repeatedly. I genuinely think they were caught short by demand in the past, despite their marketing team doing a sterling job on making the product so desirable.

However it was "fixed" is irrelevant.
Ordering was easy, delivery was fast and coordinated, and the whisky was available to drink double quick.
