I'm back in the US and currently at the Mountain Rambler brewery in Bishop CA. Gradually working my way through the menu.
Shieldback is a winner. The Hazy IPA was a little thin. Now on to the Amber Ale.
I thought the Cloudwater brewery tap was hipster central, but it's got nothing on this place smile

The Hague. We're quite spoilt for local breweries, especially as I like dark strong stuff biggrin

Yeah, found some great bars in Copenhagen too, I think the Scandinavians figure beers expensive so had had better be good.
You don't seem to find the same kind of places, with a dozen or more beers on tap, in the UK as much as you do around Europe though.
Any major city in the UK will have numerous craft beer bars with lots of choices.
We've had 3 places on our high street for at least 10 years

I’m just back from the USA and used a big chunk of my baggage allowance to bring home Stone IPA & Lagunitas. beer
Got very drunk on pints of Stone IPA in Death Valley once. Nearly fell off the bar stool. Didn't realise it was 7% at the time smile

On my annual motorbike tour of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and now expanded to Colorado. Pretty much every stop has to have some decent beer at the end of it.

Highlight of the trip has to be Helper Beer in Helper, Utah.

Just look at the place..

Very small town that also has an interesting bar called the Regis Club...

Next time you're on a tour and if you're anywhere near Santa Barbara, I can highly recommend the Island Brewery just down the road in Carpinteria.

Always a favourite when we were at HQ in SB. Good beer but even better atmosphere, always full of "classical" Californians who always had a story to tell. It's a warehouse next to a railway with a bar in the front, but it's so much fun.
I'm in that area in July so will take a look thumbup . My kind of place. All time favourite is Mountain Rambler in Bishop CA, especially the wednesday locals night with music.

Wild Edge in Cortez and a Cidery in Mancos, both in Colorado, were other highlights of the recent trip..

Perfect for a sunny afternoon. I like the lower alcohol ones.
