I've eaten both ortolan and guinea pig, neither were something i'd seek out again but i'd eat if offered them.

There's a tribe somewhere that cuts a small hole in a table, then pushes a kind of small monkey up from underneath so the top of its head is just poking through. Then they slice the top of its skull off like a boiled egg and eat the brains with a spoon.
nono

That's a combination of urban myth and Western fiction. Some cultures do eat monkey brains, but not like that.

How do you know? Have you met them all?

It's perfectly plausible, especially if they have a toaster to make some soldiers.

Chicken feet
Duck webs
Lamb's tongue
Veal sweetbreads and tongue
The usual offal

So nothing compared to some on here.

I have yet to venture far East though, so give me time.

Monitor Lizard - sort of like chicken but with fish-like bones. In a curry.

Gibbon - done in a spicy curry with lots of ginger. Tasty.

I've always wanted to eat a dog. My brothers one looks pretty tasty, he feeds it meat and cheese, and it's pretty small so I reckon you could skin and gut it and shove it in a slow cooker with a stload of garlic, cumin and a couple of bottles of stout. Maybe some chipotles too. I reckon about 8 hours and the meat will be falling off the bones, well tender. Serve it up with some couscous cooked in the stock and a smokey red or maybe more stout, garnished with coriander and some chopped fresh red chilli.
Some kind of Alfie carbonnade. Hungry now.

It's in the infamous 'Faces of Death' documentary (if you can call it that).

Ended up buying horse steaks when in Le Mans in 2007.

It was only after about an hour on the BBQ and they were still bleeding that we clicked on and decided to check the label and do a spot of translation...

Tough, tasteless and pointless IMO.

Also on the "Executions" vid that a mate bought in the hour it was on sale before being banned and removed from the shelves.
