Are we using a can of Raid as the measuring metric these days?

Please can we agree on the size of Raid tin, 300ml seems to be the default size.
Can of Raid is the new Custard hehe

No cans of Raid in our house as there are far more fun ways of dispatching winged annoyances.

Shall I just use this?

I bought one of these a while ago, and it’s honestly amazing. I thought I might end up having spent sixty-odd quid on a big silly toy, but living in the countryside there’s a steady stream of flies finding their way in each summer, and this thing obliterates them. If any fly lands, it’s immediately dead.

I assume you end up with salt in places that you need to clear up?

Working at South Tees Motorsport Park on Saturday afternoon/evening and fancy a Parmo afterwards, where's the best place nearby to grab one please?

Blimey, didn't realise it was called that always referred to it as 'Teesside Autodrome'! rofl

The world is your oyster up there chap - i'd recommend Pav's from personal experience, not the closest to the track but a short drive and consistently good Parmos: https://maps.app.goo.gl/JQhigQouRYTooZju9

ETA: Also had Mr Chips recommended, not tried this place but it's slightly closer to the circuit: https://maps.app.goo.gl/G7cgYHfMrBqsW22R9

If you're looking for an eat-in Parmo, you can try somewhere in town like Central Park (opposite Albert Park), which i've not tried but heard is good, and everyone's favourite Parmo chain Manjaro's also. Be a good lad and share pics of whatever you end up with wink

Well, that's what I expected, but actually, it uses such a tiny pinch that its hard to even see or find any salt grains afterwards.

(Unless you go utterly mental with it and shoot a fly twenty times... hehe)

Just don't be tempted to use it to season your dinner.

No seriously, it uses table salt, and nobody wants that st on their dinner.

Thanks for the reply - Mr Chips looks good, will try there I think. Will have to find somewhere to sit and eat so as not to stink out my car!

Yeah good call, otherwise it's the high speed trip back down the A19 with windows/sunroof open to disperse the heavy air - fingers crossed Mr Chips should sort the job out for you, heard good things about them for a few years now.

You are certainly tempting me to join the anti fly army.

I had an epic battle with a bluebottle today - those buggers are like the armoured division of the fly military.
Also, to fit the thread, bacon cheeseburger and chips, with half a dozen hot wings from a local kebab house. Their hot wings are amazing, very crispy and hotter than hell. More addictive than crystal meth, and probably worse for you. hehe

Just popped in for some inspiration for tonight. Just back from holiday and no food in the house.

Pizza? Kebab? Fish and Chips? Curry?

I'm thinking large mixed kebab and a small pizza.

This was mine from Thursday - was late back from golf and wanted to treat myself after a decent win, so went down the salty box of filth route.

S&P Chips, ribs, wings and chicken bits, with sweet and sour sauce, noodles and rice. Came with fortune cookies and 2 cans of Coke, was £21 all in.
