I’ve read that freezing bread then toasting helps reduce the effect of the carbs.
Well you learn something new everyday. I now need to research the impact of frying bread straight from the freezer in lard as that’s my normal route for fried bead.

If it works for toast surely this makes fried bread a healthy choice…
Well, if the sugar doesn't get you the lard might.

Joking aside, I'd rather eat fat than sugar.

It would never have occured to me. Indeed only a racist tt would posted that on X.
However, the breakfast looks grim.

I'd find that much coriander overpowering but that nonetheless looks good.

While fried eggs on toast - simple, classic - addition of coriander is a bold choice in this here parts. Maybe will give it a go one Sunday (if we have fresh coriander leftover from the previous nights dinner perhaps)

^ ^ ^ What kind of dullard, posts inane balderdash like that, the right honourable member for Ashford does.

This cretin wouldn’t know an English breakfast if it kicked him in the plums.

Tomato ketchup, but no eggs, toast or fried bread, the man’s a simpleton.

Somewhere, there is a happy village, that’s lost its idiot.

Might as well squeeze a bottle of dish soap over it
