Just got back from a holiday to Turkey having fallen in love with Turkish coffee.

I don't know how it's regarded amongst Coffee aficionados but I can;t get enough of the stuff.

We bought an Ibrik (copper pot for preparing Turkish Coffee)and some coffee and it's been really easy to make at home.

Is a Turkish coffee just a gritty espresso and I'm waxing lyrical about nothing or are there any other Turkish Coffee fans out there?

We have greek coffee in our house, same thing, without the 400 years of arse banditry by the turks rofl

Little tip for ya, when boiling on the briki, add some nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon into the mix. Also add your sugar at the same time.

Stin i yamas!

My dad loves Turkish coffee. Introduced to it by his (secret) Turkish wife. Not too keen on it myself though smile
