First attempt at a dessert pasta... since googled to realise there are a million variations :-(

5% sugar pasta filled with a 50:50 chocolate/cream + brandy, orange and vanilla truffle.

Wow! Also how neat are they? Are you used to working with sugar paste? Best I ever learnt off my mum was how to make roses.

What's next?

How are you going to serve them? Do they need cooking? etc?

Have to say that they sound like they could be immeasurable improved by losing the pasta bit and serving the filling in a bowl with whipped cream...

wink

Just boil like normal pasta (less salt in the water) for a couple of minutes then serve as you would a crepe suzette.

Chocolate, alcohol, oranges... can't beat it!

Tries it on several people today. Most kids ate it but my son and daughter both said it was too adult for them. Some Polish tasters loved it, similar to something they are used to. Wife and a couple of customers liked the idea and taste but the pasta looked a bit insipid.

Going to try again with coca in the pasta to give it some colour. And then again with fruit fillings, like strawberry with a cream sauce.
