Just a headsup..

Went to Zaika in Kensingston last night. Had the Gourmand Menu.

We are busy working our way around London's best "ruby's". So far, this place wins hands down. Not your typical curryhouse (it's got a Michelin star), but if you want contemporary indian food in a great venue, put this on your list.

Bloody excellent food.

Off to the Rasoi next. yum

Zaika is good but a pale shadow of what it was when it opened, unfortunately. The next indian restaurant I would like to try is Nawaabs on the New Kings Road - I've heard rave reviews from a Bengali friend of mine.

Also, bugger paying lots for your food just head east to Tayyabs or New Lahore Kebab House in whitechapel and get with the lambchops smile
